Venus Vargas
The life of a Licensed BadAss BodyWorker (...and some other shit)!
Massage Therapy, Esthetics, Body Contouring, Body Sculpting, Reiki, Energy work
Welcome to my first official blog post. I'm Venus, a NYS licensed Massage Therapist/Esthetician & Body and Energy worker. I have a small Wellness Center in Syracuse NY whose primary focus is on women's health and wellness. I specialize in Post-op Lymphatic Massage & Cupping Massage Therapy, as well as non-invasive Body Contouring. So if you've had or plan to have any body enhancing surgery, I'm your gal!
DISCLAIMER: If cussin' offends you, then this is NOT the blog for you. I absolutely have a potty mouth and don't hold back. If you're cool with it and can relate, then WELCOME!!!!!

This first blog won't be long. I just wanna introduce myself.
As I mentioned, I am a NYS Licensed Massage therapist and Esthetician. Before beginning my journey as a Massage therapist, I worked as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for 10 years. I made the decision to change careers due to some unforeseen and unfortunate events in my life. I graduated in 2016 from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY. When I tell you that was THE BEST decision I have ever made thus far in my life... aside from becoming a mother of course. :-) For the first time in my life I can actually say that I love what I do and who I work with. (I have some of the best clients and patients anyone could ask for!)
Only a year after opening my practice, I decided to go back to school for Esthetics. Another great decision! And with every continuing education course I take, I add additional services to my "menu" like non-invasive body contouring, ionic foot soaks, steam sauna, vibration therapy and v-steam, AKA yoni steams. I want my focus to be on women's health & wellness. A place where women can just be themselves, away from societal "norms" and expectations. Just a small little piece of D'vine Serenity!
As you follow me on this journey, I plan to share some helpful information as well as some fun little tid bits. I might share some frustrations and funny moments. But whatever I do share, I hope that you will enjoy the journey with me. And please don't hesitate to ask questions, I would be happy to answer them in a future post!
So for those of you that have been with me from the beginning, my ride or die's, Thank You for tolerating my shenanigans and sticking with me through the best and worst of times... lol For those of you just beginning your journey with me, hang on tight! You're in for a ride. lol
Be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow along for whatever is to come.
